This is one the great songs of my childhood. Growing up, my sister and I had it a bit rough, but we always had our Irish folk songs tapes. She and I would act out all the verses to this song, and then do a little arm in arm jig during the chorus. When I picked up the guitar a few years ago, this was one of the first songs I learned.
